(SACKVILLE, NB) The UNB Varsity Reds ended the 2016 AUS men's soccer regular season with a big 6-0 road win over the Mount Allison University Mounties, on Saturday.

UNB got off to a quick start when Marcus Lees(Barrie, ON) gave the visitors a 1-0 lead just three minutes into the game.

Lees struck with his second goal of the game just 13 minutes later, giving the Varsity Reds a 2-0 lead they'd carry into half-time.

In the second half, UNB got two goals from Tom Pheulpin(San Antonio, TEX.), in the 47^th and 49^th minutes, and two goals from Yosua Niyonkuru(Ellerslie, PE), in the 56^th and 89^th minutes of play.

UNB will now host the 2016 Subway AUS Men's Soccer Championship, next weekend.

The Mounties will miss the playoffs.
