2015 StFX Women's Recap
The team was able to field a full team finishing in 5th place overall with 121pts. Dalhousie University won the women’s team competition with 24 pts.
The UNB Varsity Reds women's XC team took part in their 2nd race of the AUS season this past weekend in Antigonish, NS on the StFX Campus. The team was able to field a full team finishing in 5th place overall with 121pts. Dalhousie University won the women's team competition with 24 pts.
The finishers, placings, and times (6km) for UNB were:
Katie Robinson 5th place in 23:49
Priya Bhutani 30th place in 25:54
Nathalie Cecire 34th place in 26:23
Catherine Tremblay 48th place in 28:11
Emma Wistaff 53rd place in 28:28
Christina Hubbard 57th place in 31:22
"It was great to see the women running well on the 6km course. Robinson is showing that she will be looking to build off of her all-star season last year and while we might have finished 5th as a team we were only 16 points out of 3rd and were missing our top finisher from the 1st race of the season (Cailie McGuire) due to the flu," said an optimistic coach Jason Reindl.
Team Results:
Dalhousie 24pts
StFX 45pts
UdeM 105pts
Acadia 120pts
UNB 121pts
