Moore Just Misses Podium At Dal Meet
Swam in four 'A' finals
(HALIFAX, NS) On Sunday, the third and final day of Dalhousie's Kemp-Fry Invitational Swim Meet, Noah Horwood(Fredericton, NB) led the Varsity Reds, swimming to a second place finish in the men's 50-metre breaststroke.
In the women's 100-metre freestyle, Jennifer Moore(Hamilton, ON) finished fourth, just two-tenths of a second out of third. It was one of four 'A' finals Moore swam in at the meet.
Other 'A' finals saw Andrea Greene(Riverview, NB) post a sixth place finish in the women's 100-metre backstroke and Kayla Martin(Kenora, ON) swim seventh in the women's 400-metre freestyle.
Eric Meng(Fredericton, NB) won 'B' finals in the men's 50-metre breaststroke and 100-metre freestyle.
The host Dal Tigers won 10 of Sunday's 16 events.
Dal hosts the next event on the Atlantic University Sport swimming calendar, January 20th and 21st, 2018.
UNB hosts the 2018 Subway AUS Swimming Championships, at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre in Saint John, February 9-11, 2018.
