(FREDERICTON, NB) First-year midfielder MJ Miller(Hammonds Plains, NS), of the UNB Varsity Reds has been named to the U SPORTS All-Rookie Team, for 2017.
This is the first year U SPORTS has named an All-Rookie Team.
The announcement was made Wednesday night, in Winnipeg, where the University of Manitoba is hosting this year’s U SPORTS women’s soccer championship.
“I’m honoured to receive this recognition,” said Miller. “This reflects the hard work and commitment of all the players and coaching staff, who continuously find ways to bring out the best in all of us.”
