(St. John's, NL) The Memorial Sea-Hawks and UNB Varsity Reds played to a scoreless draw on Saturday afternoon.
Although neither team was able to find the back of the net, there were plenty of chances. The Sea-Hawks had 15 shots, while UNB had 12.
Both keepers did well to hold their teams in the game, with Memorial keeper Sydney Walsh(St. John's, NL) finishing with 6 saves and UNB keeper Rebecca Duda(Halifax, NS) making 5 saves for the clean sheet.
Memorial midfielder Nicole Torraville(St. John's, NL) led the Sea-Hawks in shots with 5, and had multiple opportunities to put her team on the board, but was unable to get one past Duda.
For the Varsity Reds, Sylvie Fecteau(Moncton, NB), Rachael Burton(Halifax, NS), and Cierra Thomas(London, ON) had 2 shots each, with Thomas having a great chance late in the 2nd half, just missing to the outside.
