Breakfast for Success on April 9

Come and meet the 2014‐2015 UNB Varsity Reds Women’s BasketballTeam on Thursday April 9th, 2015.

The Friends of the Varsity Reds Women’s Basketball Team will be hosting the ninth annual Breakfast For Success and auction on April 9th to celebrate women’s basketball and raise funds for the V-Reds Women’s Basketball Scholarship Program. This year's guest speaker will be graduating athlete Colleen Daly. 

During the first eight years we have raised over $100,000 to support our awards and scholarship program. This allows us to continue to attract elite athletes from across Canada and keep our New Brunswick athletes at UNB.

In order to do this, we need community support from people like you. This breakfast is a significant component in funding our scholarship program and raising the profile of our program in the province. We hope to see you again this year. 

The event will be April 9 from 7-8 a.m. at the Fredericton Inn. Individual tickets are $35. Corporate tables of eight are $250.

If you would like to continue your support of the breakfast by purchasing a ticket or a table and cannot attend in person, please talk to us about the opportunity to help send a local middle or high school girls' basketball team to this great event.

Of course, not being able to attend doesn't prevent you from getting involved in the auction. The items up for grabs include a Toronto Raptors package (two tickets to a game plus one night in a hotel), an autographed Steph Curry jersey, a Blue Jays package (four tickets to two games this summer / two nights hotel in downtown Toronto), YMCA Fredericton six-month family pass, tickets to Maritime Country Fest, an outdoor basketball hoop from Canadian Tire, a VIP hockey box package for 22 fans for a UNB men's hockey game, and more!
