Varsity Reds face first pre-season trials at home

UNB volleyball play their first pre-season games in front of a home crowd this weekend.

On Friday night, the women's team came back from being down 0-2 to Acadia to win 3-2 (25-27, 21-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13).

The men's team lost to Queen's 1-3 (18-25, 20-25, 25-21, 13-15).

The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER's Performance Gym will see more volleyball action tomorrow when Acadia's women's team plays Western at 10am. UNB's men's team will have a rematch with Queen's at 2:30pm. UNB's women's team has the last game of the day, playing Western at 5pm.

On Thanksgiving Sunday the women will play Western again, this time at 10am.
