2010 Season Review
This year’s team will have a very different look as many of the cornerstone players that the side has been built around have graduated. There is an exciting group of young returning players that will have to take on new roles with the team. Some of the key veteran players that will be looked upon to play big roles include Galen Smith (striker), Pablo Urbina (midfield), JC Campeau (wing), Amir Razak (wing), Jason Bessey (midfield), and Rod Ramsden (back). Second year players that will be asked to step up include Ben Law (back), Shea Nordheim (wing), and Will Allen (striker). New players expected to have an impact this year will be Aaron McMurray (keeper from London, Ontario), Alex Haiart (back from IMG Soccer Academy, Florida), Ryan Lauzon (midfielder who started last year for McGill’s CIS silver medal team), and Yassin Chehab el din (back from Cairo, Egypt).
It is a difficult schedule this year, so the coaches will be working hard to make a competitive side out of this relatively new group of players.
