REDS Run Over Panthers

(FREDERICTON, NB) Keegan Neary made the most of his debut with the UNB REDS men’s rugby team last Saturday, scoring multiple tries and making every conversion kick as UNB defeated UPEI 41-7.

One of Neary’s tries came on a long, breakaway while the majority of his conversions came from difficult angles.

Matt Magee made his season debut, after missing training camp. He played fast and made good tackles and was a noticeable presence on the field.

While it’s early in the season, it’s obvious that speed will be among UNB’s many weapons.

UNB will visit Mount Allison on Friday before returning home to face Acadia on Saturday. Game time is 1:00pm, at College Field.
