Reserve your favourite seat for the coming hockey season.
(FREDERICTON, NB) Varsity Reds’ season pass holders, save the date… and your seat.
Season pass holders from the 2015-16 season, have a chance to renew and reserve their hockey seats, at the Aitken University Centre, before passes go on sale to the general public.
Previous season pass holders can claim their seats between August 22nd and September 2nd, at the Aitken Centre box office. The box office is open from 11AM until 4PM, Monday through Friday.
“This is a chance to save your favourite seat,” said John Richard, UNB’s Athletic Director. “After watching our men’s hockey team win another national title last season, interest will be high. This will give our loyal fans a chance to reserve their favourite seats for the upcoming season.”
Passes for the 2016-17 season will go on sale to the general public on September 6th.
Season passes are valid for all Varsity Reds home events, including regular season, tournament, exhibition, the Mark Jeffrey Memorial Game, and AUS playoff games.
Seating for hockey, at the Aitken Centre, is reserved, except in Sections 9, 10, and 11, which is general admission only.
Seating for basketball and volleyball events, at the Richard J. Currie Center, and soccer events, at BMO Centre, is all general admission.
The University of New Brunswick will host the CIS Men’s Hockey Championship, March 16-19, 2017.
The Varsity Reds will be defending the national championship on home ice.
Season pass holders can combine their purchase, with a CIS Men’s Hockey Championship tournament pass, and save $100.
Adult season passes are $225. An adult CIS Men’s Hockey Championship tournament pass, valid for all eight games, is $175. Purchased together, they’re only $300.
Senior season passes are $200. A senior CIS Men’s Hockey Championship tournament pass, valid for all eight games, is $150. Purchased together, they’re only $250.
“Secure your seat for the entire hockey season and save,” said Richard. “It might be the best deal in town.”
