BLG Awards

(CALGARY, AB) Jordan Murray was thankful for the experience.

The UNB Varsity Reds defenceman was a nominee for the BLG Awards, presented to the top CIS male and female athletes, in Calgary.

Andrew Buckley, quarterback of the University of Calgary Dinos football team, and Kylie Masse, a swimmer, from the University of Toronto, were named as winners.

Murray and UNB were front and centre in a lavish awards ceremony, Monday night.

The Varsity Reds hockey program received national attention, yet again, in a show that will broadcast on Sportsnet, at a later date.
