UNB kicks off their schedule with a pair of home games. On Friday, Sept. 18, they host the OUA's top-rated McGill Redman, and on Monday, Sept. 21, they face their annual pre-season game versus traditional rival St. Thomas. UNB will then head on the road for four games including AUS opponent Dalhousie at Truro, NS, on Saturday Sept. 26, in a 2pm matinee encounter.
UNB then heads to the US for an excellent test of playing three games in four days starting with a game on Thursday, Oct. 1, against the Portland Pirates of the AHL. They then play two top NCAA rivals with Hockey East powerhouse Boston College on Saturday, Oct. 3, followed by 2014 Hockey East Champion U Mass Lowell on Sunday, Oct. 4.
UNB will kick off the 2015-16 season of AUS competition with their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 10, versus UPEI. Following from their inaugural year in the MIAA (which is now the AUS) in 1905-06, this makes 2015-16 the 111th season of UNB hockey.
