Chris Culligan of the UNB Varsity Reds' men's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 20, 2013.

A fifth-year recreation and sport studies student from Howie Centre, N.S., Culligan had a total of five points in UNB's two weekend wins.

He was named the first star in Saturday's 5-3 victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies after scoring a hat trick and collecting an assist.

Culligan also had an assist in UNB's 5-2 win over StFX on Friday night. He currently leads the AUS in points.
