Derek Yeomans, #31 – (yo-mans) The top rookie goalie in the AUS his first season, Derek had a bit of an off year by his standards for his second season, and has been solid ever since in the UNB net, sharing the goaltending duties with Travis Fullerton. He played four years in the WHL where his overall record was 96-47-22 and he had GAA’s of 1.83, 2.30 and 2.12 in his last three years. Derek won a Memorial Cup Championship in Kelowna. Last season he set a AUS record for only allowing 16 goals in 10 games played. Derek works in the summer with a travelling goalie school throughout western Canada.
