Bio
Hunter Tremblay, #7– Hunter is the second UNB player to be a
finalist for prestigious BLG Award for the top university athlete
in the country. His former linemate Rob Hennigar won the award in
2007. Tremblay set a new UNB all-time regular season career
point’s record on Dec. 3, 2010 and the UNB total career
points record on Feb. 12, 2011. The AUS Rookie of the Year his
first season, last season Hunter was the 2010 AUS and CIS MVP plus
a 1st Team All Canadian. The gritty two-way playmaking
forward is UNB’s best player, and a leader off and on the
ice. Last season he
was UNB’s top efficiency award winner. In his summers he
helps run his family’s campground in Timmins. Hunter was
recently named a 2010-11 AUS 1st Team All-Star.
