Jonathan Harty, #40 – The Oromocto native is one of UNB’s most entertaining players and among the hardest players to play against in the AUS. This makes him a fan favourite for his big hits and offensive rushes. He is a solid two-way d-man who brings a great deal of physical play and grit to the blue line.  Jonathan played four seasons with the Everett Silvertips where he was the team captain, stalwart on their defence, and set team records for games played. Last season he had a strong start but then suffered an injury plagued campaign. He was voted the team’s top hitter and is a 2009-10 Academic All Canadian.
