Bio
Luke Gallant, #4 – (ga-lant) Luke is only the fifth
UNB hockey player ever to be named both a CIS All Canadian All Star
and a CIS Academic All Canadian; a true student athlete. He is a
complete defenceman and was voted the team’s top d-man, one
reason why just recently he was awarded the Mike Cavanagh Memorial
Award. He has size, speed, and a heavy shot. Luke is a key part of
the UNB power play, which suffered when he missed several games in
the first half with a broken finger. Luke was a member of the Nova
Scotia Canada Games team where he played forward on a line with
Sidney Crosby. He is a 2009-10 Academic All Canadian.
