Matt Fillier, #27 – Matt is a hard nosed competitive player who is a strong skater, enjoys the physical part of the game and has an outstanding work ethic. Matt is the first UNB player to study Geomatics Engineering and earned a 3.1 GPA his first year. He was the three-year captain with the Montréal Juniors / St. John's Fog Devils. He is well respected in the dressing room for his leadership and physical game. Paired with Ryan Seymour, the pair has proved to be an excellent penalty kill tandem.
