REDS Open Against Huskies
(HALIFAX, NS) The UNB REDS open the 2025 Atlantic University Sport Curling Championships on Thursday (Jan. 2), at the Mayflower Curling Club, in Halifax.
The Jamie Stewart rink is coming off a 2024 season that saw them fall in the semi-finals at the conference championship, in Montague, PE.
The Stewart rink has gone through some changes since last season, adding second Aden Kavanaugh and alternate Luke Robichaud.
The 2025 championship bonspiel begins Thursday with UNB taking on Saint Mary’s. That game is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm Atlantic time.
On Friday (Jan. 3), the REDS will face UPEI in the 9:00am draw and Memorial in a 2:00pm draw.
Satuday sees UNB taking on STFX in the 9:00am draw and Dalhousie in the 2:00pm draw.
Semi-finals are scheduled for Sunday at 9:00am with the championship draw scheduled for 1:00pm.
The conference champions will advance to the U SPORTS Championships, February 24-28, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
