Doumbouya And Spurrell Named All-Stars

Ibrahima Doumbouya and Chris Spurrell have been recognized as 2018-19 Atlantic University Sport All-Stars.

Doumbouya, a 2^nd year forward from Calgary, Alberta, was named to the conference’s 1^st All-Star Team.

Doumbouya saw action in all 20 of the Reds games this season, starting in 16 of them.

He averaged 28.9 minutes and 15.2 points per game.

A force at both ends of the floor, Doumbouya scored 304 points, finishing 7^th in AUS scoring. He led the conference in rebounds, with 204.

Spurrell, a 3^rd year shooting guard from Quispamsis, was named to the 2^nd All-Star Team.

He started all 20 of the Reds games, averaging 33 minutes and 15.3 points per game.

Spurrell was 6^th in AUS scoring, with 305 points, one more than Doumbouya.
