Doumbouya And Spurrell Named All-Stars

Ibrahima Doumbouya and Chris Spurrell have been recognized as 2018-19 Atlantic University Sport All-Stars.

Doumbouya, a 2nd year forward from Calgary, Alberta, was named to the conference’s 1st All-Star Team.

Doumbouya saw action in all 20 of the Reds games this season, starting in 16 of them.

He averaged 28.9 minutes and 15.2 points per game.

A force at both ends of the floor, Doumbouya scored 304 points, finishing 7th in AUS scoring. He led the conference in rebounds, with 204.

Spurrell, a 3rd year shooting guard from Quispamsis, was named to the 2nd All-Star Team.

He started all 20 of the Reds games, averaging 33 minutes and 15.3 points per game.

Spurrell was 6th in AUS scoring, with 305 points, one more than Doumbouya.
