Rain gives way to sun... gives way to fun.

(FREDERICTON, NB) Just when it looked like the weather would win... the rain stopped and the golf began.
And while the Kingswood Park golf course was a little soggy in places, 110 golfers made the most of Thursday afternoon, making the 2016 Don Nelson Shoot Out, in support of the UNB Varsity Reds' men's basketball program, a big success.
The afternoon of golf, and a silent auction, combined to raise about $13,000 for the program.
