Basketballers meet at CIS AGM

Two former basketball players, Mike Sherrard and David Lowe, and a former coach, Clint Hamilton, were reunited at an awards ceremony tonight during the CIS AGM held in Toronto.
Sherrard who played ball for UNB in the 80s under head coach Don Nelson, was recognized at the awards ceremony held at the former Maple Leaf Gardens. Thanking Mike, for legal services by Sherrard Kuzz LLP, on behalf of the CIS was Clint Hamilton in his role of former President.
Attending the ceremony and on hand at the CIS meetings was David Lowe representing the Timex Group; a current corporate partner of Canadian Interuniversity Sport. Lowe played basketball for UNB in the 90s under then head coach Clint Hamilton, and is currently the Brand Manager Sports Marketing with Timex.
