Men's Basketball Begins Second Half
Reigning Atlantic University Sport men's basketball conference rookie of the year Will McFee makes his Richard J. Currie Center debut Friday night when the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds host the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers in a four-point game. It's an 8 p.m. tipoff.

The V-Reds are winless in eight games since sweeping a season-opening series against the Memorial University Sea-Hawks on Nov. 12-13. The Panthers are 6-2, but coming off a pair of losses to the Saint Mary's Huskies in Halifax last weekend.

McFee was second on the team in scoring last season with an average of 13.7 points per game. He remained home in his native Northbridge, Australia, for the first semester, but is back on campus with the V-Reds. He returned to action against St. Francis Xavier in Antigonish last weekend as the V-Reds fell 92-59 and 87-68 to the X-Men, 7-0 in the AUS and secondranked in the country.

The V-Reds are home to the Acadia Axemen Saturday night at the Currie centre. The Axemen are 3-3 for 12 points, tied for second in the standings with the Panthers.
