Coach's Comments: When you play a team so committed to the 3pt shot
you’ve got to get your team’s head around the fact that 2pts is better than 3pts.
They shot 39 threes with everyone on the roster attempting at least 1. Losing
Alex DesRoches to injury in the first 3 minutes didn’t help our cause. Having never had
a full 5 on 5 session due injuries in the preseason until the start of this week
definitely showed up in a lack of cohesiveness at both ends.

Coach's Comments: Our effort level was much better, but we our mental errors especially, in the 3rd quarter in the transition game proved to be our demise.
They scored 14 points in transition to seal the victory in the 3rd quarter.
X has 5 fifth year seniors and their depth and experience was evident in this one.

Coach's Comments: One the better first half shooting exhibitions since I’ve been here and some great interior defense by our bigs resulted in the first victory of the exhibition season. The 30-17 first quarter in our favor jump started the squad to victory even though the Cape Breton came back with a strong second half, but we were able to hold off enough to get the victory.
