The UNB Varsity Reds Basketball Program is pleased to announce that Alex Caskey will be joining the squad for the upcoming 2011-2012 season.

Alex was a member of the Halifax West Warriors and was ranked as one the top prospects in Nova Scotia; he averaged 16 pts and 12 rebounds per game.
  
Coach Baker is definitely excited with this latest addition to the V- Reds. “At 6’6” and 225lbs Alex brings a physical presence down low and he’ll help us improve our rebounding for the upcoming seasons.”

Alex is a honours student and will pursue an Engineering degree at UNB. He is the fourth member of his family to attend the University of New Brunswick - his brother is a currently studying engineering, while his parents are both UNB graduates.
