Proof Of Vaccination Required For Entry

(FREDERICTON, NB) Following the announcement by the Government of New Brunswick, regarding required proof of vaccination at, among other locations, recreation facilities, the REDS and UNB will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption, before entry to events at the Aitken University Centre, the Richard J. Currie Center and the Sir Max Aitken Pool, beginning Wednesday, September 22nd.

Anyone attending a REDS event at any facility will need to bring government-issued identification and proof of vaccination, to be verified by facility staff.

Acceptable proof of vaccination includes a.) MyHealthNB record, b.) Immunization record from an RHA clinic, pharmacy or Public Health, c.) photo or copy of an immunization record, d.) proof of vaccination from another jurisdiction, e.) UNB Safe App (for UNB students, faculty and staff only).

Individuals who cannot receive a COVID-19 vaccine because of a medical exemption will be required to show proof of exemption, signed by a health care provider, along with government-issued identification.

Entrances to our facilities will be limited, to ensure all entrants have their vaccination record verified, and there may be delays in entering. We ask that you be patient and understanding as we navigate through this challenging situation.

Attendees must continue to wear masks while moving about any of our facilities. Masks can be removed at one's seat, but only while consuming food or beverages.
