The UNB Reds/Valley Graphics female Athlete of the Month, for January, is Krystal Osburn, from the women’s basketball team.

The fourth-year forward was twice named UNB’s female Athlete of the Week in January, as the Reds went 5-and-2.

She compiled 65 points, 44 rebounds, nine assists, 15 steals, and eight blocks, earning two Player of the Game awards along the way.

“She’s playing confident, patient, efficient basketball at both ends of the court,” said Reds head coach Jeff Speedy. “Her hard work is really paying off.”
