Barry Morrison to join UNB Soccer’s Coaching Staff
The UNB Varsity Reds men's soccer program is pleased to announce that Barry Morrison has joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach.
Morrison brings a wealth of experience to the program. He holds a Level IV NCCP certification and a National B Licence as well as a plethora of coaching experience from club to college with both men's and women's teams. He has also held the position of Soccer NB Technical Programs Manager and is currently the Club Head Coach with the Fredericton District Soccer Association.
Varsity Reds head coach, Miles Pinsent, is pleased to add Morrison to the coaching staff that also includes long serving assistant, Dave Rouse, and keeper coach, George Lucas.
Coach Pinsent is excited about adding another passionate and knowledgeable soccer person to the team. "I have worked with Barry for many years in different capacities. The Varsity Reds soccer program is pleased to be partnering with the FDSA on new initiatives in which we can share our resources and expertise. Having Barry join us is another benefit from us all working together."
"It's always exciting when you are given the chance to work with players of such high calibre and I am looking forward to the challenge. My involvement with the Varsity Reds will only help to solidify the relationship between the Varsity Reds and Fredericton District Soccer Association," continued Morrison.
