2012 UNB Eric Garland Menā??s Basketball Tournament dates and teams announced.

The UNB men’s basketball program is pleased to announce the dates and competing teams for the 2012 edition of the Eric Garland Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The 2012 draw will feature a very competitive line-up including the St. Francis Xavier X-Men; Saint Mary’s University Huskies; Université du Québec à Montréal Les Citadins and the UNB Varsity Reds.
These three incoming teams all feature veteran line-ups with exceptional athletes. The Varsity Reds will return eight players from the last year’s team and the addition of four rookies will round out this very young, but capable squad.
The Fredericton basketball community will be treated to some very high-end basketball during the UNB Homecoming Weekend slated for Sept. 28-30th, 2012. During Homecoming the Varsity Reds will be honoring the following teams: 1962 Red Raiders- 50 years; 1987 Red Raiders- 25 years; and the 2005 Varsity Reds team that competed at the CIS Championship.
