Title: Assistant/Skating & Skills Coach

Cassidy is a former professional hockey player, having skated with the Toronto Furies of the Canadian Women's Hockey League during the 2017-18 season.

Before the Furies, she played at Elmira College from 2011-2015, where she won an NCAA Division III championship in 2013. Elmira College was national runner up in 2015. During her final year at Elmira, she set an NCAA record for most power-play goals in a single season with 17. That record still stands. She was the Division III statistical leader in game winning goals in 2014-2015.

​2021-22 marks her fourth second season working with UNB's women's hockey team.

She's been coaching for the past eight years as a head coach, earning Coach of the Year in the AFHL in 2016. Cassidy was the assistant coach for Team NB U18's for the 2019-20 season. She was also the assistant coach for U18 Team Atlantic, which competed at U18 national championship, in Morden, Manitoba.
