Pachal was named to the coaching staff in June of 2017, shortly after the appointment of Sarah Hilworth as the team's head coach.

A native of Saltcoats, Saskatchewan, Pachal has been a resident of Fredericton for several years.

She played in the National Women's Hockey League and was a member of the Etobicoke Dolphins team that earned the silver medal at the 2008 senior women's national championship.

Pachal played collegiate hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where she helped the Bulldogs win the 2001 NCAA championship, and Northeastern University.
