(ST. JOHN'S, NL) The UNB Reds scored a straight-sets win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks on Saturday, the Reds second straight win.

The Reds won with scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-19.

Once again, UNB was led by Victoria Eadle (Gallagher Ridge, NB), who registered a match-high 15 kills, on an extremely efficient .591 kill percentage. Eadle simply could not be stopped.

Paige Lehto (North Vancouver, BC) dished out 28 assists in the victory, doing a great job distributing the ball and keeping the Sea-Hawks off balance on the defensive end. Adora Rooyakkers (Port Hawkesbury, NS) put together another solid performance, finishing with eight kills while registering a match-high 11 digs.

Memorial came out of the gates a little slow, dropping the first set 25-17, but gave the Reds everything they could handle in the second set. The Hawks would go into the technical timeout up 16-15, but the Reds were able to rally and earn a 25-22 set victory.

UNB would take the third set 25-19, despite the Sea-Hawks' best effort.

Memorial was led by Catherine Smith (Mount Pearl, NL), who registered multiple highlight reel kills, while also scoring two solo blocks in the second set. Hailey Oke (Massey Drive, NL) and Alyssa Warford (Corner Brook, NL) each finished with seven kills.

With the win, UNB is now 10-and-8, and tied for third in the Atlantic University Sport standings. The Sea-Hawks see their record drop to 0-and-19.

The Hawks and Reds will wrap up their weekend series on Sunday, at 12:30pm Atlantic.
