(WOLFVILLE, NS) UNB's Adora Rooyakkers (Port Hawkesbury, NS) led the pack with 13 kills, nine digs and two service aces as the Reds handed Memorial a 3-0 loss on Sunday.

The Reds dominated the first set from the opening service, but Memorial would not quit after a 25-15 loss.

In the second set, trailing by as many as nine points, Memorial worked back from a 19-10 deficit to within four points on a five-point run led by UNB errors. But a Rooyakkers kill and a Kelsey Bond (Bridgewater, NS) service ace ended Memorial's run and UNB took set 25-19.

The third set was tight until two Memorial attack errors gave UNB at 12-10 lead that would hold until the 25-21 finish.

Bond was named the Subway Player of the Game.

Emma Hackett (Clarenville, NL) had four kills, six digs and two service aces for the Sea-Hawks, who are still looking for their first win of the season with an 0-8 record.

UNB improves to 4-5 after Sunday's win.

Both teams have reached the mid-season break. Their next action is in January.
