(SHERBROOKE, QC) The UNB REDS fell in straight sets to the U SPORTS No. 4 ranked Sherbrooke Vert et Or, in RSEQ play, on Friday.

The hosts won with scores of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-14.

"We gave ourselves a chance in the first set, but didn't execute after 20-20," said REDS head coach Dan McMorran. "Sherbrooke is an experienced team who are playing at a great level right now. We're a relatively young group that is trying to navigate through a rough patch and having to use a number of different lineups, so with that combination there isn't a lot of room for error."

Rafael Hilario led the REDS with seven kills, while Scott Mann registered three digs.

Nick Glynn did return to the REDS lineup and served 13 assists.

Yoan David led the Vert et Or with a game high 11 kills.

The REDS and Sherbrooke tangle again Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 2:00pm Atlantic.
