(HALIFAX, NS) In the first match of the best-of-three Subway Atlantic University Sport men’s volleyball championship, the Dalhousie Tigers beat UNB Varsity Reds in straight sets.
The 3-0 score, however, was not indicative of the parity seen in the scores of the sets.
Dal won 25-22, 25-23 and 25-23.
In the first set, the Varsity Reds were able to get out to an early 8-4 lead.
UNB got to 21-20 late in the set, but the Tigers swung back at the most crucial time, winning it 25-22.
