REDS 4th After Day One At Acadia Meet

(WOLFVILLE, NS) The UNB REDS sit in fourth place in the women's, men's and combined team standings following day one of the Jack Scholz Memorial Invitational, at Acadia, the second meet of the 2022-23 Atlantic University Sport swimming season.

The Dalhousie Tigers lead the women's, men's and team standings with Acadia third in all three categories.

Blake Kingston led the REDS, swimming to a third place finish in the men's 50-metre breaststroke.

Ethan Nestoruk recorded fourth place finishes in both the men's 200-metre individual medley and the men's 50-metre butterfly. In the butterfly, he finished just 3/10ths of a second out of third place.

UNB teams took third place in both the women's and men's 200-metre medley relay events.

The five team meet concludes on Sunday morning.
