Title: Assistant Coach, Men's Hockey

Brad Good is in his eighth season as an assistant coach with the REDS (2021-22).

The 2013-14 season was Good’s first year behind the bench, when he was an assistant while completing his Bachelor of Education degree at UNB.

As a player, Good was a strong defenceman who spent four seasons in the OHL with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Following his junior years, Good attended Carleton University, where he was named captain of the expansion men’s hockey program in 2007. Good spent four seasons as the captain of the Ravens men’s team and was an Academic All-Canadian, OUA Second-Team All-Star, and was awarded Defenceman of the Year honours in multiple seasons.

Following his university career, Good spent parts of three seasons playing professional hockey in North America which included time as a player with the Florida Everblades, Orlando Solar Bears, Missouri Mavericks, and as a player/assistant coach with the Mississippi Surge.

Over the course of his career, Good attended NHL rookie camps with the Los Angelas Kings and Boston Bruins.

Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, Good resides in Fredericton with his wife Leah, and their daughter, Olive. He works as a teacher and youth hockey camp instructor.
