(HALIFAX, NS) Connor Hall (Kitchener, ON) scored three goals to lead the UNB REDS in a 10-1 win over the Dalhousie Tigers on Friday night, at the Halifax Forum.

Hall was named Subway Player of the Game.

The REDS offence exploded in the first period as Hall notched his first and second goals of the season in the span of six minutes.

UNB's big period didn't end there, as Brady Gilmour (Grafton, ON), Simon Pinard (Drummondville, QC), Jason Willms (Kitchener, ON), and Cody Morgan (Gilford, ON) all found the back of the net.

Dalhousie goaltender Alexander MacDonald (Truro, NS) came into the game to start the second period and stood tall through two early UNB power plays.

The REDS managed to get past MacDonald though, as Benjamin Corbeil (Granby, QC), who assisted one of Hall's goals in the first, opened the scoring in the second.

Hall completed his hat trick as the REDS offensive machine kept churning.

A power-play late in the period saw Dal finally get on the board, when Campbell Pickard (Halifax, NS) snuck one past REDS goalie Samuel Richard (Ste. Catherine, QC.

UNB answered back with a goal by Cole MacKay (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) to take a 9-1 lead after two periods.

Tempers flared in the third, with both teams receiving misconduct penalties.

MacKay tacked on a second goal to push UNB's lead to 10-1.

The REDS, now 4-2-0-0, are now tied for second place in the conference standings, while the Tigers fall to 1-5-0-0.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday.

The REDS travel to Antigonish to face the STFX X-Men, while the Tigers host Moncton.
