(FREDERICTON, NB) Ticket holders for last Friday’s cancelled Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season game at UNB’s Aitken Centre have three options for exchange or refund.
The September 10th game, between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Moncton Wildcats, was cancelled late Friday afternoon.
Ticket holders for that game can now choose from the following options:
1.) Exchange for a ticket to this Saturday’s (Sept. 18th) QMJHL pre-season game between the Sea Dogs and Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
2.) Exchange for a ticket to the Sea Dogs’ regular season opening night game, on October 1st, at Saint John’s TD Station.
3.) Receive a refund for the ticket, excluding service fee, from the Aitken Centre box office.
Anyone wanting to exchange Friday’s ticket for a ticket for this Saturday’s game, or get a refund, can do so at the Aitken Centre box office, beginning today (Sept. 13th).
Anyone wanting to exchange Friday’s ticket for a ticket for the Sea Dogs’ regular season opener can do so between Monday, September 20th and Friday, September 24th, at the AUC box office.
The Aitken Centre box office is open Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:30pm, and opens 90 minutes prior to game time on Saturdays and Sundays.
All exchanges and refunds MUST be completed by end of day on Friday, September 24th.
“We appreciate that people were looking forward to seeing last Friday’s game, but circumstances prevented it from happening,” said Nick Zildjan, the Marketing and Events Manager for the UNB REDS. “We wanted to provide options for ticket holders in the wake of the cancellation and hope everyone finds at least one of the options acceptable.”
The Sea Dogs were forced to play their QMJHL pre-season home schedule at the Aitken Centre to accommodate renovations at their TD Station home.
