The UNB Reds/Valley Graphics male Athlete of the Month, for January, is Ibrahima Doumbouya, from the men’s basketball team.
Doubmouya registered 128 points and 85 rebounds as UNB went 5-3 in January.
In four of the team’s eight games, the second year Red recorded a double-double.
“Iba continues to average a double-double,” said Reds head coach Brent Baker. “That’s helped put our program in the thick of the playoff hunt in the AUS.”
